Jelly Roll Pardoned

Jelly Roll has had a streak of good stuff happen lately. First, the Tennessee Board of Parole voted unanimously to give him clemency, and then Tennessee Governor Bill Lee gave him a full pardon for his past charges of drug possession and armed robbery.

This means he can now potentially see a way to getting back some privileges he lost with his felony convictions, including voting and traveling to countries where those convictions would keep him from entering.

Jelly did his time and has done so much with his fame over the last few years to give back to the community and to help inmates and juvenile offenders get on the straight and narrow, so this is well deserved.

Nice job, Jelly!
