Kelsea Ballerini had to say goodbye to her beloved dog Dibs this week.
You might remember he was diagnosed with cancer of the heart in August 2024, and he went through treatment, including chemo, despite having a prognosis of only about four months.
Now, 17 months after his diagnosis, Kelsea says, “he spent his last few days in his backyard looking at the sunshine and surrounded and visited by his forever people.”
She called Dibs her “soul dog,” and as someone who also lost her soul dog to cancer back in 2021, I know her pain too well. Sending Kelsea all our love.
