This week, the RIAA certified Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey” DOUBLE DIAMOND.
That means it’s sold more than 20 million units, and that puts him in an elite club. Only two other songs have ever gotten double diamond status: “Just the Way You Are” by Bruno Mars in 2010, and “Sunflower” by Swae Lee and Post Malone in 2018.
That makes Chris the first country artist in history to get that status. Cheers to that!
He had a big thank you for Taylor Swift, too.
