Radio

From 2013 to 2025, I was the lead country host on LiveOne, a streaming radio service that, in that time, had also been called Slacker Radio and LiveXLive. In 2016 I also became the Country Format Captain, overseeing the curation and promotion of all country stations on the LiveOne service. During my tenure, I was proud to have improved the inclusiveness and representation of female, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ artists while also growing Country listening at a rate that outpaced the service overall. I was asked to speak about my work at CRS 2024, during which I shared data to support the results.

Before that, my radio career took me from my hometown of Ithaca, NY to various markets in Texas, Kansas, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and just before Nashville, I was in Memphis, TN. As a programmer, I was known for my support of rising artists, women, and other underrepresented artists, as well as spearheading efforts to support the local community. We raised major dollars for the breast cancer wing at the local hospital, for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and alongside our local Marines in their Toys For Tots efforts. I also led the already successful WFRE to record ratings. We won the ACM for Station of the Year and were nominated twice for that award by the CMA, and we were named Best Local Radio Station by the readers of Frederick Magazine in its annual Best Of Frederick poll.

Now I work from my professional home studio, and am available for voice tracking, music scheduling, consulting, and commercial voiceovers.
